Buildings cannot lie
Have you ever tried to enter the building of an institution that calls itself democratic and have been startled by the layers of its protection and barriers built to keep out? Have you ever entered a social housing project and wondered what is social about it? Have you ever entered a dynamic working environment office and have been surprised by its sterility and isolation?
We preach democracy and build fortresses, we preach the social and build numbness and dissociation, we preach togetherness and build isolation. And we are too busy to even notice it.
Things reveal themselves in patterns, not in exceptions. I am looking at the patterns and read them out loud.
